REPORT OF THE THIRD PROJECT MEETING

In the period September 23.-26.2024 , the third project meeting was held in Serres, Greece, according to the project, as planned in the project documentation. The meeting was attended by: Barbara Turk, Boštjan Punčuh (SLO), Apostolos Klonis, Konstantinos Domouchtsis, Petridoy Effrosini, Margoudi Zoi, Chapsali Despoina, Tzigeras Nikolaos, KiourisIdoy Smaragdi, Koulakidis Heraklis, Alexandridis Savvas, Mademlis Ioannis, Totolidoy Georgia (GR), Ivan Miloš, Maglena Miljković (SRB) and Ana Djordjević with Bojan Stević an experts of the Agricultural Advisory Service of Serbia from Požarevac, which is a partner in developing the application and dissemination of the project.

SUMMARY :
The project meeting was opened by Apostolas Klonis by introducing the team members from his school and then introducing the members of the delegations from Serbia and Slovenia to them. Barbara Turk and Ivan Miloš introduced themselves to the attendees and briefly introduced the schools they come from. Bojan Stević briefly presented the Agricultural Advisory Service where he is the director. Alexandridis Savvas presented to the participants of the meeting how the AGROINFORMATIX WEB page ( www.agroinformatix.com ) was set up together with the part on the application server. The WEB aims first of all to promote the entire project, as well as the promotion of all three schools participating in the project. Apostolos Klonis presented to colleagues how much the application has been done so far, but also where additional questions have arisen. The biggest dispute was whether it was necessary to enable multiple editing of data for each animal, primarily for reproductive activities. During the discussion, it was decided that it is feasible and possible to edit data during the production process in pig farming. These same procedures are also applied in data editing in other branches of animal husbandry.
After solving the aforementioned problems, it was established that the development of the application will be solved so that by the next project meeting in December 2024 in Novi Mesto, the area in the application related to animal husbandry will be completed, and field farming will be done as a demo version, which will then be displayed. The full version for farming will be ready by March 2025, when it will be presented via an online meeting, so that the final version will be fully ready for April 2024.
Until the end of the project, the meetings should be in the following terms:

PM 4 (Novo Mesto) : 16.12.2024. – 18.12.2024 .
PM 5 : (Seron) : Second half of April 2025.
PM 6 : (Požarevac) : Beginning of July 2025.

All activities were carried out in accordance with the agenda previously agreed between the partners, and at the suggestion of the host school. The participants of the meeting were accommodated in the “Helena” hotel in Serres.

The common impression of all participants of the project meeting is that the meeting was very successful, that it gave new values ​​and that it fully met expectations, but also that it is necessary to continue at an increased pace in order to fulfill the set goals of the project. Members of the delegation from Serbia who are from the Agricultural Advisory Service of Serbia had an additional meeting with their colleagues from the Agricultural Service of the Serres area (Bojan Stević and Ana Djordjević with Varudis Leonidas and Marija Kostovasili) . The meeting was organized at the suggestion of Miloš Ivan during the last project meeting in order to bring the two advisory services closer together for better mutual cooperation, but also to get acquainted with the results of the work on the application, as well as to provide proposals for its improvement. The delegation of the advisory service of Serbia proposed to try to organize a meeting of a similar type during the next project meeting in Slovenia between the advisory services of Serbia and Slovenia.
